Winter trip to the Navigation Inn, Cosgrove

Took a trip with Kathy & Jim Graves to the Navigation Inn, Cosgrove where we were photographed from the bridge by Ann Jones.

Stoke Bruerne Locks Maintenance March 2006

On March 5th we visited the Stoke flight to view the winter maintence work. New lock gates are being fitted to the 2nd lock.



The bank on the left is the reason why boats often go aground when not in the centre of the pound.



A good view of the bottom gates of the third lock showing why they can be heavy to move.
