In dry but cold weather we travelled from March to Peterborough. The long straights were just as fascinating the second time. The sharp turn at Whittlesey was more difficult going this way with less room to swing the stern. Went to the Key Theatre at Peterborough to see Honor Blackman & Francis Matthews in the Kingfisher. Ian Lavender (Dad's Army) sat behind us. We had coffee & desserts in the theatre restaurant with Francis Matthews on the next table. Two minutes walk back to the boat. Very enjoyable evening.
