Pete Allsop from Tamora sent me a couple of photos that indicate just how the levels were on the Trent when we went from Torksey to Keadby. The top view was taken under "normal" circumstances last summer and the other view was taken last Saturday. Both views are looking west from Torksey Lock towards the main channel of the river. The angle of the walkways is a very good indicator.
As the lock keepers kept saying, "there's plenty of fresh".
I wonder what the levels are now?
