Short but delightful journey from Fotheringhay to Ashton; accompanied as yesterday by Moriaty. Moored, as we did on our way downstream, in the backwater by the lock. Went shopping in Oundle. Great to find a town with "real "shops. Weather sunny but later in the day we had some heavy showers.
